Charon is a minor character in the 2016 video game Deadbolt. He is a mysterious weapons merchant and the ferryman of River Styx, similar to his original counterpart. Charon would assist the Reaper by giving him a set of his weapons that he sells, in exchange for the souls that he has collected throughout his journey within the game.
Appearance[]
Charon is a humanoid that wears a white exquisite suit and a white hat and has the look of a businessman. His skin is dark, yet he has light-blue flames on the sides of his head and on his hands.
He is also seen holding a light-blue lantern on his right hand.
Personality[]
As implied in the game, Charon is so scary that there are even folk ballads warning them about him and the River Styx, especially towards the demons. He patrols the Styx and has no qualms about dumping anyone who makes trouble from the boat.
Gameplay[]
After the completion of the game's level "New High" Charon will be able to be interacted by the players of the game, who is always seen at the harbour front, not far from the Reaper's apartment, with his eponymous boat beside him. He will sell players several weapons, including firearms and melee weapons. However, players will require to trade him for souls, the game's currency, in order to purchase a particular weapon.
