Cheon Yeo Woon (천여운) known as the Second Heavenly Demon is the titular main protagonist of the 2018 webnovel novel and 2020 manwha series, Nano Machine and its sequel, Descent of the Demon God in the Wolyaverse.
Throughout most of his life, Yeo Woon was scorned as an illegitimate child and treated with contempt by the powerful families of the Six Clans, the dominant forces within the Heavenly Demonic Cult. Their persecution eventually led to the tragic death of his mother, who was poisoned. Although considered the weakest among his half-siblings, Yeo Woon’s fate changed when a mysterious time traveler appeared and implanted advanced nanotechnology into his body after saving him from an assassination attempt. With the aid of this futuristic enhancement, he gradually grew stronger, mastering powerful martial arts and uncovering Cheon Ma's ancient techniques.
While a ruthless man on par with his great ancestor, Yeo Woon is an honorable man with his own sense and views on the notion of justice having reshaped the corruption of the Heavenly Demonic Cult and change the system to proper form of balance.
Appearance[]
Yeo Woon appears to be a young man with distinctive features with long black hair with black eyes. His hair is dark purple when using the invincible sword along with his eyes matching them taking on a dark shade of blood red, jagged line storming on the cheeks.
Throughout his body going multiple reconstructions from the nano machine, he attained white well built muscles as Gumiho stated that he resembles his ancestor, Cheon Ma.
Personality[]
His personality is shaped by his childhood and the loss of his mother, vengeance, and relentless pursuit of personal strength. He shown to be ruthless and calculating, but he remained loyal to those around him. His pursuit of journey is marked by the blood his enemies yet as a cold-blooded man who honors his past.
He is very cautious, calculative and ruthless man with cold blooded that set him apart as he went through hardships, countless attempted assassinations from a young age. His immense value of Nano that was injected from his ancestor resolved to keep it from his enemies in order to survive.
Despite being ruthless towards those who stands his way, he is fiercely protective to those who are loyal towards him since he never displays arrogance towards them and instead values and cherishing their loyalty. He holds the memory of his late mother close to his heart as he swore to never cry again as he seek vengeance towards the Six Clans that ruined her. Unlike his feelings towards his father, who hasn't seen him back in his childhood remain indifferent, resenting the fact that his father was never there when his mother died, not known that the struggles his father faced. However, his perspective towards his father has changed once he learned the truth from his fathers life.
Background[]
Born as the member of the Cheon Family, he was the son of the female servant working at the Lords chamber and not affiliated with the Six Clans. Although considered as the Illegitimate son of the Heavenly Divine Lord, he is still part of the Cheon Family Bloodline having the right as the next Vice Lord of the Heavenly Cult despite that he has low chance on gaining without support. He was forbidden to learn martial arts throughout his 15 years of life but have an unimaginable growth rate thanks to the help of Nano machine from his ancestor.
History[]
Nano Machine[]
He was born in the highest ranking family of the Heavenly Demon Divine Cult, The Cheon family and successor to the 23rd Lord of the Heavenly Demons Divine Cult, Cheon Yu-Jong while his mother is a servant who does not have an affiliation among the Six Clans as her mother was ostracized by other cult members which drove the antagonism further since the lord favoured Yeo Woons mother over the six.
Lady Mu, co-leader of the dark clan, visited Lady Hwa forced her to make a promise that her son will be forbidden to learn martial arts until he is enrolled in the Demonic Academy which in mere months as Lady Hwa fell victim in the hands of the wicked plans of Lady Mu and died later of micro poisoning. Cheon Yeo Woon entrusted to Jang Gakyung, who he serves as a paternal father figure while he's a personal bodyguard as he resented his biological father for abandoning him and his mother.
After he was nearly killed by the assassins, his descendant inject some strange serum turning out to be one of the greatest advantages that help him remove all impurities of his blood. Few days after the incident, he enrolled in the academy and is easily subjected to discrimination as his number badge was sabotage. On the first test, the elder of the sound Clan attempted to use her sound martial art to injure him which however was unable to subjue him thanks to Nanos Protection and ordered nano to injure him to avoid suspicion and being sent to the academy doctor. Later the right guardian helped Cheon Yeo Woon to help him increase and enhanced his breathing techniques and martial arts as he implanted him the Butterfly Sword Dance.
Within the next few months of overcoming the challenges such as improving and absorbing the understanding of martial arts, the heavenly demon sword techniques from the monolith, especially those who are being an obstacle in his path. While waiting for the 3rd test, he identified the perpetrator behind Baek Gi being position which is none other than his half brother Cheong Jusum as she slandered him to the ground after hearing him talk about his mothers death leaving him cripples and destroyed for life.
Within the past 4 tests he completed, he later trained in isolation for 3 years as he later became a grandmaster of cultivation and later entered the Sealed Demon Cave where he encountered Imugi and later weilds the sword of the heavenly demon sword that was once held by the original Heavenly Demon Lord, Cheon Ma which he ends up drinking the black blood of imoogi which strengthens his power further

Nanomachine Technology[]
a 7th Generation Machines created by his descendants himself when injecting it on the body of Cheon Yeo woon mistaken it as the evil god realizing its a technology created from the future timeline. It comprised about 6.482 Million nano machines in his body deployed throughout the body and through the user of the individuals brain. It doesn't leave the users body once its registered and can be ejected once the user is killed. The ability of this tech is to utilize and adapt the forms of Qi Energy such as demonic, pure white, solar and Yokai energy and other functions such as:
- Self Healing: a passive ability to heal the wounds within the body and regenerate the structure depending on the wound and severe, prevents the user from being poisoned and drunk as it extracts the usage out of it.
- Scanning: its function is to copy and text the texts and images that were written in books, analyze the facial expression and can translate the language and symbols that were stored.
- Information Transfer: Information that were scanned throughout can send and transfer the information to the users brain specially movements.

He can learn more than 600 different marital arts from the demon academy itself especially by observing others which is the exception of skilled in modern martial arts such as Boxing, Taekwondo, Judo and jiu-jitsu which can alrso create new techniques.

- Cheon Yu-Jung: His father is the former 23rd Cult Lord of the Heavenly Demons Divine Cult and is the father of Cheon Yeo Woon. He resented his father for not visiting and caring about the situation he had gone through. However, his resentment changed to a turning point after his father told him behind the truth from his fathers life.
