Chester Stodart is an antagonist in Ys III: Wanderers from Ys and its remake Ys: The Oath in Felghana.
While he does redeem in both games, Oath in Felghana gave him the bare minimum of heroic acts to warrant his presence here.
Appearance[]
In Ys: The Oath in Felghana, Chester Stodart primarily dresses in white with dark purple lining and dons purple boots and a light purple scarf.
Powers and Skills[]
Chester's primary weapon of choice is a sword.
Heroic Acts[]
Despite playing a role of a villain who initially does not back down, he eventually realises how wrong he was in how many lives he endangered and helped Adol stop Galbalan from wiping out mankind. His heroic acts, namely in Oath in Felghana, amount to:
- Lent Adol his ancestral blade, the Brave Sword, so he can defeat Garland and Galbalan who pose a threat to mankind.
- Cuts Elena free from her binds to save her and tells Adol to use the sword in order to weaken Galbalan in order for the statues to seal him again.
- When Galbalan starts to revive, Chester has Adol take Elena to safety while he uses the Brave Sword and the four statues to trigger the mechanism in order to kill Galbalan by destroying the island along with himself.
