Chief Counsellor Naoyuki Miura is the leader of the United Airforce Overtech Hardware (or UAOH), the superior of the Ohrangers, the mentor of the Ohrangers and a major character in Chouriki Sentai Ohranger.
He is played by Hiroshi Miyauchi who previously played Akira Shinmei in Himitsu Sentai Gorenger, Sokichi Banba in JAKQ Dengektkai Shiro Kazami in Kamen Rider V3, Ken Hayakawa in Kaiketsu Zubat and Shunsuke Masaki in Tokkei Winspector.
Biography[]
Past[]
Little is known about Chief Counsellor Naoyuki Miura's past but he was an archaeologist who at some point discovered the history of the ancient human civilisation Pangea. The ancient people had built an army of robots called Machine Beasts to act as their servants. However, the machines rebelled against thier creators in an attempt to conquer the Earth but were entirely wiped out by Riki; the legendary hero whose Super-Power was enough to help the civilisation defeat the machines but there was a prophecy that the Machine Beasts would return someday. With that knowledge, Miura gained government funding and founded the United Airforce Overtech Hardware whose goal was to prepare Super-Power based technology to combat them should the Machine Beasts return. with the help of Kenichi Sr., he reverse engineered the Super-Power and allowed those who used the Power Brace to turn into Ohrangers.
As Miura suspected, in 1997, Emperor Bacchus Wrath (the sole surviving Machine Beast who had built his own empire called the Machine Empire Baranoia) sent a scouting squadron of Takonpas to scour the planet’s defences. Despite Miura's reservations, his subordinate and friend Lieutenant Shunpei Kirino recklessly stole the prototype Giant Robo Red Puncher to destroy them. However, it lacked a proper power source so went berserk in battle which sent Kirino plunging to his death and buried Red Puncher under a mound of rocks. Upset at his friend's death, Chief Miura abandoned Red Puncher where it lay and swore to never let it be used again.
Ohranger[]
In 1999, Emperor Bacchus Wrath leads his Empire back to Earth and launch an invasion of Earth in order to get revenge for his defeat millions of years ago. He rallies his forces and sends Bara Drill and [[Bara Saucer to decimate the planet so Chief Counsellor Miura brings together five of his employees (Goro Hoshino, Shouhei Yokkaichi, Yuji Mita, Juri Nijou and Momo Maruo) to become the new Ohrangers and defend the Earth.
After the Baranoians conquer Earth by capturing the Giant Robos and depowering the Ohrangers with Dark Particles, Chief Miura disappeared underground to run a resistance movement. After the deaths of Kaiser Buldont and Empress Multiwa which puts an end to the Baranoia Empire, Miura joins the Ohrangers in watching Gunmazin leave Earth with Buldont Jr. and Acha and Kocha. What happened to Chief Miura after this is unknown.
Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai[]
After the Gaorangers and Dream Sentai defeat Lost Highness Duke Rakushaasa, the Org grows giant so Muira sends an armada of past Sentai mecha to overwhelm him and help defeat it.
