Chief Inspector Grobbelaar was a minor protagonist from Bottom. His first and only appearance was in the second episode of series 2: "Parade".
He was portrayed by Andy De La Tour.
Biography[]
He first walks in the room while Richie and Eddie are busy with an identity parade. Richie then immediately starts insulting him but shuts up when he hears that he is insulting the Chief Inspector. After finding out that Lil Potato said that the reason for this identity parade was so she could point out that her son stole her bag, he order Jenkins to give her a good "Drubbing". later when he goes into the men's toilet in Dick Head's Pub, Richie and Eddie assault him and they next day he orders his men to give them a "Damn good Kicking".
Personality[]
He is seemingly a well meaning Officer of the law but is not afraid to lash out when people waste his time.
