Hero Overview

Chika Takami (in Chinese: 高海千歌 Takami Chika) is the main protagonist of Love Live! Sunshine!! She is a second year in Uranohoshi Girls' High School. Her image color is orange. She is the center of CYaRon!, a sub-unit under Aqours.

Chika is the second-year student at Uranohoshi Girls' High School who launches Aqours. Chika is the youngest of three sisters. comes from a ryoukan-owning family which is known for their open air, ocean-view hot springs. Chika is the neighbor of Riko Sakurauchi. Chika is a You Watanabe's friend since elementary school.

Her older sisters' names are Shima Takami and Mito Takami. According to magazine material, her sisters are also fans of Muse, though this does not seem to have been retained in the anime adoption. They also own a large dog named Shiitake.

She is voiced by Inami Anju in the Japanese version of the anime, and by Jad Saxton in the English version of the anime.

Personality

Chika is a sociable girl, and rarely gives in easily. This is shown multiple times in the anime, such as when she kept on trying to persuade Dia Kurosawa to let the School Idol Club be approved. Her positive, can-do attitude gradually begins to affect everyone around her. She has a habit of explaining puns without being asked.

Clubs and Hobbies

Chika is talented in horizontal bar, table tennis, and calligraphy. She also loves softballs and going to karaoke booths.
