Chinatsu Hinomiya (火宮チナツ in Japanese) is one of the characters in the 2021 roleplay game Blue Archive who studies at Gehenna Academy and wields a Sniper Rifle, and is one of the characters of the 2024 Anime Adaptation of the same name. She is a member of the Disciplinary Committee (or Prefect Team), a club responsible for keeping order in Gehenna. Chinatsu was also an member of the Emergency Medicine Club before she transferred to the Prefect Team for unknown reasons.
Her first appearance in the story was as a supporting antagonist during the first volume of the main story, the "Foreclosure Task Force", under the orders of Amau Ako. However, Ako acted on her own volition without the approval of the head prefect, Hina Sorasaki, resulting in her and Chinatsu's punishment. Chinatsu later helped the protagonists of the story under Hina's orders. She also appeared as a supporting protagonist during the third chapter of the third volume, the "Eden Treaty", and the second chapter of the final volume, "Where All Miracles Begin". She also appeared in two side events, "Chairman Hina and her Summer Vacation" and "Operation Record of No. 227 Hot Spring Resort".
She is voiced by Kim Hyunji in Korean, Haruka Kouzuki in Japanese, and Zhang Chen in Chinese.
Personality[]
Compared to other students in Gehenna Academy, Chinatsu is relatively one of the most sensible characters. She is very committed towards keeping things in order and following procedure. She is sometimes responsible for keeping the more unruly members of the Prefect Team in check. At first glance, she might seem like a cold person, but in reality, she is a sweet girl. Her emotions are unfortunately often hidden behind the absurd amount of work often piled up in front of her, but she's often willing to be responsible enough to complete all of them as she believes that someone has to finish the job.

This is the outfit Chinatsu wore during the "Operation Record of No. 227 Hot Spring Resort" side event, where she decided to head over to the Red Winter Federal Academy after hearing about the sudden appearance of a hot spring location. However, she got distracted by how relaxing the place was, especially with how stressful her work can be. A break once in a while is always nice.
