Chiron is a character in the Percy Jackson and The Heroes of Olympus series. He is the centaur activities director at Camp Half-Blood. He trains all the half-bloods that attend camp. He also trained the famous Greek Mythology heroes like Hercules, Achilles, and Jason, and Percy Jackson.
In the film series, he was portrayed by Pierce Brosnan (who also played James Bond in GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, and Die Another Day, and Thomas Crown in The Thomas Crown Affair) in The Ligtning Thief, and Anthony Head in The Sea of Monsters. On Off-Broadway, he was portrayed by Jonathan Raviv, who also played Poseidon and Hades in same production. In the upcoming Disney+ series, he will be portrayed by Glynn Turman.

Background[]
The son of the titan Kronos and Philyra, Chiron was abandoned by his mother due to his horse-like appearance. He was later raised by the god Apollo, whom took Chiron under his wing and had him train demigods.
He lived atop Mount Pelion in the northern region of Thessaly until he got hit by a poisonous arrow. However, Chiron was granted immortality by Zeus as long as heroes needed him. He would soon become the director of Camp Half-Blood, where he trained numerous demigods to defend themselves and learn how to use their abilities granted from their parents.
Personality[]
Chiron is very kind and caring, but makes all the half-bloods work very hard. His kindness and civilized personality makes him different from the other centaurs, who are usually. He takes pride in the half-bloods' accomplishments. He's very wise, and is a father figure to Annabeth Chase, Percy Jackson and all the other campers who have familial problems. Despite his close relationship with both Annabeth and Percy, he never divulged the great prophecy to her or taught Percy how to manipulate the Mist, unlike Thalia.

Chiron is a centaur - a half human-half horse being. He has a brown beard and brown hair. He's middle-aged.
