Chizuru Mizuhara is the main female character in the manga and anime Rent a Girlfriend. She's a first year student who was working as a rental girlfriend in her free time.

Her real name is Chizuru Ichinose. After the incident with Kazuya Kinoshita, she realized he is her neighbor at the apartment complex and also goes to the same college. She is aiming to be an actress with inspiration from her grandmother. The main reason she became a rental girlfriend is for developing her acting experience.

She was voiced by Sora Amamiya in Japanese, who also voices Akame from Akame Ga Kill!, Elizabeth Liones from Nanatsu No Taizai: The Seven Deadly Sins, Aqua from Konosuba! franchise, Miia from Monster Musume: Everyday with Monster Girls and Touka Kirishima from Tokyo Ghoul, and Lizzie Freeman in English, who also voices Pomni from The Digital Circus.

Appearance

Chizuru has long brown hair reaching down to her waist, with bangs on the right side and light brown eyes.

In her rental girlfriend persona, she wears feminine clothing like a blouse, above-knee length skirt, heels, jewelry and wears makeup.

As a collage student, she wears glasses, a butterfly clip on her bangs and ties her hair in two braids. It's later revealed that she has sight trouble and wears a pair of contact lenses when she is not going out with her friends.

• She shares similarities with Asuna Yuuki from Sword Art Online series.
  • They share the same:
    • Long hairstyle consisting two smaller braids from both sides forming a small ponytail on the backs of their heads.
    • Hazel-colored eyes.
    • Cute outfit preferences such as a knitted sweater and a skirt.
    • Tsundere personalities (although in different circumstances).
  • They have love interests whose initials are "K.K." (Kazuto Kirigaya/Kirito and Kazuya Kinoshita)
