Chuck is the deuteragonist of the Danish film Help! I'm a Fish! He is a computer nerd of 13 years old genius elevated, who has two cousin named Fly and Stella. He's morbidly obese, and it’s revelated he’s a excellent fighter like seen with piranhas.
He is voiced by Morten Kernn Nielsen in the Danish version and Aaron Paul in the English version, who also played Tobey Marshall in Need for Speed and Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie
Biography[]
Chuck and his mother go to their uncles' house for a visit and Chuck is working on an important project on his computer, but Fly accidentally deletes it as a joke. Luckily Chuck had backed up his work and wants to wake up his mother (who has fallen asleep trying to make Stella fall asleep), but Fly forces Chuck to come with him and Stella on a fishing trip, or breaks up his back up.
Arriving there at the sea, the three find a seahorse they are fond of and immediately call Sasha and then put her back in the water, and then they find a secret laboratory of a scientist Professor MacKrill, who considers Chuck exactly as a real professor given his wits and shows them the fish potion. Unbeknownst to everyone, Stella, thirsty, mistakes it for orange soda and drinks it, transforming herself into a starfish. After Fly and Chuck look for her, Fly finds Stella and not knowing that she wants to throw her back in the water, Chuck however with the camera recording understands what happened to Stella and tries to stop Fly, but he can't. Fly, Chuck and Professor MacKrill go by boat to look for Stella, but there is a storm and Fly drinks the potion and turns into a fish to look for her and MacKrill warns him that if he doesn't drink the antidote within 48 hours, he will remain a fish for always. Chuck and the Professor fall into the water as the storm gets worse, and since Chuck can't swim, he is forced to drink the potion and transforms into a jellyfish.
When he finds Fly and Stella having fun with Sasha, Fly immediately teases him about his marine form, but then worries when Chuck says he has lost the antidote. When the quartet learns that a potion-smart fish called Joe has evolved and become king of the ocean with the potion, they go there to try to recover it, only to end up being wrongfully arrested. They are locked inside a cage and have to say the formula of the potion by the next morning or Sasha will be killed.
Fortunately, Sasha manages to escape and frees the trio and then Fly stubbornly tries to make the potion with Chuck who disagrees, but then they are attacked by Joe and his fleet and where Fly is badly injured by a crab claw and then he gets depressed, but after escaping Chuck takes the lead and encourages everyone to go to the Professor's lab to get the antidote after they say goodbye to Sasha. But they are attacked by Joe who has become more and more intelligent and breaks the Pirahna aquarium and they are all in danger now and there are less than three minutes and Fly recovered a little and deceives Joe who drinks the potion by transforming himself into a human under water and suffocated. The pirahnas attacks Chuck, who fights them of with his jellyfish toxin, paralyzing them.
The trio manage to drink the potion and become human again just as the parents and Professor MacKrill are going to the lab and Chuck and Stella come out human and then hug their relatives again, but Fly is gone.
Initially believed to have died remaining a fish, it turns out to be the California Flying Fish, Fly is human and is fine and apologizes to Chuck for the rudeness given to him. The next morning the family together with the Professor have fun at the sea and Chuck learns to swim, but Stella is a bit down for Sasha, who reappears and hugs Stella again and Chuck and the professor so they use the potion to turn her into a pony.
