Claude McGarren (Croad Macgalain in the Arcade version) is the main protagonist of Sega's 1999 arcade exclusive Crisis Zone and it's 2004 remake Time Crisis: Crisis Zone. He is the leader of the S.T.F who leads his forces to stop the URDA's forces from terrorizing the United States.
He was voiced by Robert Tinkler in the Playstation 2 version.

Events of Time Crisis: Crisis Zone[]
Claude is assigned on to a mission to stop the rising URDA who has invaded Garland Square as of 2000. He leads his team to storm each of the three areas (Drycreek Plaza, Garland Park, Garland Technology Center) and take down respective leaders of each areas, as quickly as possible in order to prevent the total command of the location. As the others areas are cleared, Claude eventually leads his team to confront Derrick Lynch, leader of URDA.
Despite Lynch's words, Claude was not demovitated and tell the man to surrender. They both engage in a final confrontation which ends in the death of Lynch's, who Claude open fires on before telling his team to escape from the facility before it explodes. With the forces of URDA finally cleared, the heroes soon return home in peace.
Events of Crisis Zone Special Mission[]
Sometimes following the defeat of URDA, Jared Hunter roses up with the remmants of the terrorist army once again and kidnapped Melissa Kessler as an act of vengeance against the S.T.F. Claude is once again called to duty in order to stop Jared's forces.
Claude makes his way through Belforte Hotel before finally coming to face Jared and the two open fires on one another. During the offense, Claude rescued Kessler and shielded her as he defeat Jared.
Jared attempt to escape using the ship, but Claude pursuit him using a helicopter. Out of sher will to end URDA, Claude managed to take down Jared, ending URDA once and for all. He soon reunites with his team and received a personal "thank you" from Commander Kessler, who noted him for his bravery and heroism. Claude nod as the game end, accomplishing his mission.
