Cliff Grimoire is a supporting character from the Isekai adventure light novel, manga, and anime series, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. He is a student at Ranoa Magic Academy.
Personality[]
Cliff can appear calm and is often seen peacefully read a book. However, he gets mad when he is disturbed by others who make too much noises, causing him unable to concentrate in his studies. Such case could be seen when he yelled at Rudeus Greyrat and Linia for being too loud. He displayed his first true emotion when he comes across an elf observing at him from a window, resulting in him to blush out of admiration. For some reason his personality also led him to attract in harassment from other classmates. As Rudeus came to his help, he initially rejected his help but eventually thanks him for his aid, something that Rudeus has already excepted from his attitude and questions his reason for his hostility toward Rudeus. It was later revealed when he explained to Rudeus that he tried to stop the classmates that assaulted him after hearing that they intented to spread false rumor about Elinalise Dragonroad, thus causing the assault to begin. Although he was timid, it did not stop him from revealing that he developped a huge crush on Elinalise and stating how she gained admiration from him by stating her name, appearance, and overall perfection, before requesting him to introduce her to him since she knows him.
Not caring about getting rejected as Rudeus warns him, he shows confidence in telling her his admiration and asks her to start a personal relationship with him.
Although Elinalise did told Rudeus that she intend to turn him down, the next morning he finds the two of them holding hands and reveals that they became a couple. Elinalise explains that this decision was made when she finds his proposal to be manly. Both of them promise each other to lift the curse that Elinalise bears inside no matter what before kissing.
