Cliffjumper is a minor character in the Transformers live action movie Bumblebee.
He was voiced by Andrew Morgado, who also voiced Sergei Ravenov in Call of Duty, and Reptile in Mortal Kombat 1.

Bumblebee (2018)[]

Cliffjumper is part of the Autobot Resistance whom battled against the Decepticons in Cybertron. When the battle for Cybertron was lost, Optimus Prime orders all Autobots to escape through Space Pods, however unbeknownst to him Cliffjumper would be ambushed by Shatter and Dropkick in one of Saturn's moons. Cliffjumper was badly wounded by Dropkick, and Shatter, that she would spared his life if he tells where Optimus's hideout was. Cliffjumper refused to tell, until suddenly received massages from B-127. Shatter eventually learning about this, and she later orders her partner Dropkick to sliced him in piece, killing him. However, his death was soon avenged by Bumblebee who managed killed them both.
Appearance[]
Cliffjumper is directly based on his classic cartoon counterpart, with modernized looks, sharing a design with Bumblebee's Cybertronian protoform, albeit with different color scheme and face design.
Trivia[]
- This is the second incarnation of Cliffjumper to die, the first one was his Aligned continuity counterpart.
- Despite never transform through out the movie, Transformers Studio Series gives him a Cybertronian Car mode.
- Due to being killed without arrived on Earth, this essentially make Cliffjumper never access his Earth Vehicle mode.
- According to the movie's director, Travis Knight. Cliffjumper's death was necessary, if he wasn't killed by Shatter and Dropkick then things won't ended well with Bumblebee.
- Opposing to his original movie counterpart, this Cliffjumper's face doesn't resembles Bumblebee's face.
- Cliffjumper's design is inspired by his G1 counterpart. While not a direct copy, the movie design incorporates elements reminiscent of his original look, particularly the head design with the "V" shaped face and helmet.
- His red color scheme, a key distinguishing feature from Bumblebee, is also retained in the movie.
