Clumsy Smurf is the main protagonist of The Smurfs franchise. He is one of the main characters of the Smurfs cartoon show, the main protagonist of the 2011 film, a major character of its sequel, and the one of the main characters of its 2017 reboot, who has appeared on the show throughout its entire run. He is voiced by Bill Callaway in the cartoons, the late Anton Yelchin in the 2011 film, its sequel, The Smurfs: A Christmas Carol, and The Smurfs: The Legend of Smurfy Hollow, and Jack McBrayer in Smurfs: The Lost Village

Character

Clumsy can be easily identified by his Southern Accent or how he does not trips and falls. Is one of the Smurfs who ends up saving the others the danger, is sensitive and has a great interest is collecting rocks.

Personality

In the Hanna-Barbera cartoon show, Clumsy is sensitive and cheerful. He is dimwitted, and a little slow, but overall good-natured and sweet. He cherishes his friends. He tends to go along with what other smurfs are doing, and loves to help out, despite his clumsiness.

In The Smurfs and The Smurfs 2, Clumsy is smarter than his cartoon show counterpart, but is friendly and happy. He dislikes being left behind by the other Smurfs. He overestimates himself at times, and dreams of being a hero, which he becomes in the first movie.

In Smurfs: The Lost Village, Clumsy's personality is a bit more on the eccentric side. He often does or says things that result in eye rolls, eyebrow-raising, or (usually intended) laughter from his friends. He is also upbeat, yet jumpy and very prone to anxiety. His anxious tendencies are reflected in moments such as him having a panic attack in the tunnels. He is still brave and good-hearted.

As his name implies he can be described as clumsy, klutzy, hapless, and accident prone. An example is in The Purple Smurfs when he accidentally lassos himself when attempting to lasso a Purple Smurf.

Clumsy isn't usually shown to be as fast as the other Smurfs. In the intro sequence (the ones where the Smurfs run away from Gargamel), it takes Clumsy longer to get around the words "THE SMURFS".
