- Many people claim that Coconut Fred’s Fruit Salad Island is a rip off of SpongeBob. Contrary to popular belief, according to Sammy Oriti, it was inspired by Gilligan’s Island and Kids WB picked it up and thought of it as their own Spongebob.
- In the episode Sir Nutalot. his video game costume references was Cloud Strife from the Final Fantasy series.
