Adi is one of the protagonists from Marvel's Future Avengers, a former Soldier of Hydra. When he joined the Avengers, he was unsure about being a hero because of what he did as an agent of HYDRA. Later in the series, he is codenamed Codec.
He is voiced by Atsushi Tamaru in the Japanese version of the anime, and by Xander Mobus in the English version of the anime, the latter who also voiced Joker in Persona 5.

In "Secret Past of Iron Man," He was stunned to find out that Tony was an infamous weapons trader before becoming Iron Man.
He attempted to hack his computer system for information regarding Tony, but Tony caught him, Adi asked how like someone with a past of hurt is a hero, but even Tony didn't know why. He attempted to help Iron Man in his fight, but Tony stops him and tells him to stay out of this fight. He hears how Tony would not let the actions he did in the past defined him like him, and Ezekiel clenches each other's hands. Tony quotes that learning from their mistakes, it's what sets them, which leaves an impression on Adi.

In "Here Comes Hawkeye" Adi joins Hawkeye on a run asking about more training from him
finds and cares for a stray cat encased in high-tech armor, discovering a plot by the Inventor to turn pets into weapons.
