Colette Loire is the deuteragonist of the action fantasy anime and manga series Wistoria: Wand and Sword. She is a Regarden Magical Academy student and one of the only friends of Will Serfort, a student without magic who is being deemed as a failure by the rest of their school community. Despite all the remarks Will has received, Colette never stops to support and help Will thrive.
She is voiced by Satomi Amano in Japanese and by Corey Pettit in English.
Appearance[]
Colette is an average-height teenage girl with long, orange hair with bangs that cover her forehead, and she wears rectangular-shaped glasses over her large, expressive orange eyes. She is dressed in a white blouse adorned with gold buttons and black trim, complemented by a black tie. Over her blouse, she wears a distinctive black cape with a gold lining, fastened at the neck with a purple gem. Her outfit is completed with a black pleated skirt featuring white stripes at the hem, black knee-high socks, and black loafers.
Personality[]
Colette is a supportive and generous girl, especially toward Will, being one of the few to support him and hold respect for him in contrast to the rest of the school who look down on him as a magicless student. She is also one of the few individuals to harbor feelings for him, leading her to develop jealousy for those like Rosti who have an akin interest in Will regardless of being a boy. Despite her outgoing demeanor, Colette protrays herself as humble individual as well, remaining stoic and calm when she stood out and catched the whole school's attention during the broom competition at the Great Magic Festival. Colette is prompted to try to sever Will and Rosti's relationship from going further when they were shopping, out of envy. Her pacificstic nature led her to try best she can to stop a fight, naturally especially if Will is involved in it, as shown when she exhibited strong ambition to put an end to Will and Sion Ulster's needless battle in the middle of festival.
