Commander Keen, known by his real name as Billy Blaze or commonly Keen, is an eponymous protagonist in the series titled after him. He is an 8-year-old boy genius with an IQ of 314, a reference to a Greek alphabet Pi and a single point less than his possible nemesis and imposter named Mortimer McMire. With his extremely high intelligence for his biographical age, Keen can make several inventions and use them to help himself in embarking his galactic adventures. His inventions are also an important part in the story line of each episode.
In Keen's spare time, he protects the entire Universe from intergalactic threats and orderly maintains the laws of the galaxy. He distantly goes through the space with his spaceship called the Bean-with-Bacon Megarocket, which is designed and built out of typical household objects by him. At home, he spends a lot of time in his Club House, inventing stuff and examining space with his signaling device known as the Photachyon Transceiver.
On Keen's galactic adventures, he, while knowing much, learns new ones too, like Omnispeak that was taught to him by the alien Vorticons, and the galactic writing system known as Standard Galactic Alphabet in Vorticon VI. Aside from Earth, he has traveled some of the planets on his trips, especially Mars, Vorticon VI, Korath III and Fribullus Xax. In Keen's relationship, he has many friends of several alien species, such as the Vorticons and the Gnosticenes, who still owe him a favor.
Appearance[]
Throughout the series, Keen always wears blue jeans, red converse, a purple shirt, and his older brother's American football helmet painted in Green Bay Packers color scheme. Physically, he has brown hair and very pale complexion.
Powers and skills[]
Keen has the ability to jump quiet high, and can reach higher since he discovered and obtained the Pogo stick, a toy that is probably used to be his trademark move, on his trip to the planet Mars. Moreover, he has the skill to keep himself unharmed after jumping from various heights, and his feet always lands.
