Condorman, whose civilian identity is Isshin Mitsuya, is the main protagonist of the 1975 tokusatsu series Symbol of Justice Condorman.
He is portrayed by Jinya Sato.
Biography[]
Isshin Mitsuya was originally a member of the NGO Flag of the World. He was present when the Deputy Secretary General of the United States was assassinated in a terrorist attack by the Monster Clan.
While in Death Valley, Nevada, USA, Isshin Mitsuya and Old Man Taba came across the legendary Dragon Condor. The two were then attacked by Sadler of the Monster Clan and brought the Dragon Condor to safety, though Isshin Mitsuya was fatally wounded while rescuing the Dragon Condor's egg. As thanks for saving it, upon hatching the Golden Condor bestowed its power onto Isshin, reviving him and giving him the power to transform into Condorman.
As Condorman, Isshin battled against the sinister plots of the Monster Clan, who sought to take over Japan.
