Conrad Meacham is a supporting character in the 2016 remake of Pete's Dragon. He is a woodcraver living in a town called "Millhaven" in the Pacific Northwest where he tells stories of a dragon living in the woods. Most people, including his daughter, Grace, believe Conrad's stories to be make believe until an orphaned boy named Pete shows up and claims to have lived in the woods with a dragon.
Conrad was portrayed by Robert Redford.
