The Cougar cubs are the deuteragonists of the 1987 Disney film Benji the Hunted.
Role
Their mother was shot by a hunter and Benji becomes their protector. In one of the films tragic scenes, one of the cubs was carried off by an eagle. A black timber wolf named Timber Wolf tries to kill them, along with Benji. Benji tricks Timber Wolf by hiding in a bush that shields the cliff, becoming the victim of his own misjudgement. Benji finally succeeds by introducing the cubs to another mother cougar.
