The Covenant Separatists are a break-away faction of the Covenant, led by the entire Sangheili species. They rebelled against the Prophet of Truth and the Jiralhanae who led the Covenant Loyalists.
After the defeat of the Covenant, they split off with many members forming the Swords of Sanghelios.
History[]
The Great Schism[]
The High Prophet of Truth expelled the entire Sangheili species from the Covenant, ordering for them to be killed on sight. The Sangheili rebelled with several leaders emerging such as Xytan 'Jar Wattinree and Rtas 'Vadum.
Joyous Exultation[]
Xytan 'Jar Wattinree's division of the Separatists set up base on the planet of Joyous Exultation.
