| ~ Cranky the Crane |
Cranky is a tall and grumpy quayside crane that works at Brendam Docks in Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends. The reason why his name is Cranky is because he works all day and night, loading and unloading cargo from ships, and he never gets any rest and can sometimes get rude and grumpy with the engines, even though he's friends with them. He also has a intense dislike for Salty's stories.
In his first appearance Cranky Bugs Cranky bullied Thomas and Percy by delaying their loads and calling them "bugs", but later got his comeuppance after crashed into him and had to be rescued by the two tank engines.
