Cream the Rabbit is a major character in the Sonic X series. She is a sweet well-mannered, young girl, and is always accompanied by her pet Chao, Cheese. Though she is not as active as many other of her friends, she is still able to aid others with her own talents.
She was voiced by Rebecca Honig, (who also voiced Cheese and Vanilla) in the English version, and by Sayaka Aoki in the Japanese version.
History[]
Cream was captured with Cheese by Dr. Eggman and locked up in his base as he tried to use the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds for his diabolical plan. Sonic went to rescue them, and, in the meantime, a huge Chaos Control was created that hurled Cream and her friends to earth. Cream and Cheese, who separated from the others, were found on a billboard by firefighters and taken to Area 99 by local humans to be studied by the military. Thankfully, they were rescued by Sonic and Tails, and Cream and Cheese settled in the Thorndyke Mansion where Sonic's new friends Christopher Thorndyke and Chuck Thorndyke lived. Shortly Amy Rose joins to stay with them, Cream discovered a Chaos Emerald on the news and alert Sonic about it and promptly recovered it from Dr. Eggman whom also seen it and tried to claim it.
When Lindsay, Chris's mother returned from her work is having a party, she decides to help out on the decorating, Mr. Tanaka discovered her and decided to keep them a secret from his mother and Ella. Later, she witnesses Lindsay weeping that she has to return to her work and missed out the party she was attending. When Sonic returns with some couple of flowers, she thanks him and is almost been discovered by Ella. When Chris complained about his mother missed the party, Cream was enraged, ultimately blowing her cover and yells at him that he should be grateful and call her on the phone and storm out in anger and sadness as Amy and Tails who are looking for her follow her in hope to cheer her up. Mr. Tanaka and Chuck decide to tell Ella about Sonic and his companions. Cream forms a friendship with Ella and made amends to Chris for yelling at him earlier. Cream soon enjoyed watching "Next" Show on the TV until the signal went static, causing her to cry believing the TV died, then Bokkun arrives carrying a message to Sonic revealing that Dr. Eggman is stealing satellites, prompting Sonic and Tails (later Chris) to go to the sky twice and stop him.
Cream later went to Emerald Coast and stay in Chris' villa while he was at the Hotel de Blanc to attend the opening ceremony due to his mother still at work and cannot attend. While playing in the beach, Dr Eggman attack the hotel and attempts to replace it with his amusement park, but was fought off by Sonic and an enraged Amy.
After a Chaos Emerald is discovered in Diamond Stadium by Tails, Cream was learning to proper dinner manner with Sonic commenting a waste of time, when Bokkun arrives wearing a baseball uniform with a message from Eggman that he wants to challenge them to baseball in exchange for the Chaos Emerald and they accept this. When they arrive at the stadium, Knuckles refuse to take part, but accepts when Cream mockingly called him a chicken. At one point Cream feigns a crush to the one Eggman's robot, causing to lose focus the game. Eggman tries to make the team forfeit, but this failed. After winning the game, Eggman takes the Chaos Emerald and leaves with his team.
