Cri-Cri is an animated talking cricket who is originally used for his own radio show in Mexico. He is created by Francisco Gabilondo Soler as a child. His radio show is in XEW

Cri-Cri is a cricket who is in a red tuxedo. He is the icon of Mexico who did his radio show in XEW and is given a leaf-shaped violin so that he can play with it.

History

Cri-Cri is created by Francisco Gabilondo Soler in his childhood. He is known as the "El grillo cantor" ("The singing cricket"). Cri-Cri became the most famous icon in Mexico and is popular for children's songs. Being the most recognizable children's songs in Spanish, Gabilondo's dedication is admired to the Walt Disney Company. This made the company release a film in association with Producciones Carlos Amador.

Telenovelas

Cri-Cri appeared in one of the Telenovelas. Unlike his cartoon appearance, he is depicted as a puppet instead of a walking cricket. He is the advisor of real people. His theme song is his motto in episodes.

1963 Disney movie

Cri-Cri's name appears in the title of the adoption. The character, himself, doesn't appear at all. Instead, the narrator talks to two children about the story of the Three Little Pigs who foil the Big Bad Wolf by attending a festival.
