Crookshanks is a minor character in the Harry potter series, debuting in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. He is a half-Kneazle cat and Hermione Granger's pet.
His vocal effects were provided by Frank Welker.
Appearance[]
Crookshanks is described as having ginger fur. Harry comments that Crookshanks looks as though it ran its face into a brick wall. He has yellow eyes, and most definingly a Bottle brush tail.
Trivia[]
- The name "Crookshanks" seems to refer to the cat's bandy legs, from crook, meaning "a bend", and shank, a term for the lower part of the legs.
- It is unknown what kind of pet Hermione had before she acquired ownership of Crookshanks.
