Crunchy is a recurring character in Dan Vs.
He has worked at the Animal Shelter, Great Will, Wally's Emporium of Hardware and Explosives, and the State Parks service.
He is the stereotypical parody of a hippie with his long curly hair, his laid back personality, and his participation in animal rights organizations, environmental efforts, vegitarianism, and civil protests for different reasons other than their original cause. In Dan Vs. Burgerphile, while Dan chained himself up to the cash register at Burgerphile over a botched drive thru order, Crunchy chained himself up to protest the Burgerphile Corporation for serving meat.

- He also makes an appearance in Dan Vs. The Gym, as one of the people being tortured to work out. However, after Dan destroyed the robots, Crunchy and other random person stayed.
- He is voiced by Tom Kenny who also voices other characters in other animated series, most notably SpongeBob Squarepants.
