Crush is a 150-year-old green sea turtle and a major character in Pixar's 5th full-Length animated feature film, Finding Nemo and a minor character in its 2016 sequel Finding Dory. He is one of the turtles who lives in the East Australian current. Crush is laid-back and speaks with a Californian surfer accent. He first appears in Finding Nemo. He has a carefree personality.
He is voiced by the film's director Andrew Stanton. In Japanese dub from the movie, he is voiced by Rikiya Koyama.
History[]
When Marlin and Dory get surrounded by a school of turtles, Marlin is accidentally on him. Crush has a son named Squirt who is happy-go-lucky. Marlin explains his story about why Nemo is lost and what he did on his adventure. Crush, just like the other sea turtles, understand his story. The next day, Marlin and Dory leave Crush in the current before getting swallowed by a whale. Before departing back to the current, the ancient sea turtle clarifies to Marlin when asked his age that he’s 150 years old and still feels a million despite it.
