The Cryosphere is one of the nine Mighty Numbers in Mighty Number 9. Also known by her nickname Cryo, this Robot Master wields the Freezing Liquid; she gives this Special Weapon to Beck when the latter defeats her. She lairs in the Water Works Bureau.
Appearance[]
The Cryosphere resembles a baby. Her body is blue and her eyes are yellow. In her mouth is a pacifier. Despite having a pacifier, she seems to be able to speak, meaning the baby face is a mask.
Cryo has two arm cannons attached to hoses that serve as arms.
Personality[]
Cryo has a bad habit of making puns, much to the others' chagrin. She is also immature.
History[]
Upon being caught by a Virus that drives robots mad, Cryo took over the Water Works Bureau, freezing the place over. When Beck and Pyro stormed the place, Pyro used his fire abilities to melt the ice back into water, undoing the damage that Cryo had done. Eventually, Beck and the Cryosphere met and fought. With his skills, Beck managed to triumph, and then Cryo was cleaned.
After she was cleansed, the Cryosphere helped out in Bat's stage, freezing several of the robot soldiers the nasty Drill Sergeant-like Robot Master had set up for his assault.
The Robots later lead an assault to stop a Robot Factory as Beck tried to stop Trinity as she awoke from her sleep.
Battle[]
In battle, the Cryosphere attacks by propelling herself high with one of her arm cannons. She then freezes the pillar. If he gets caught, Beck needs to break free of the ice to avoid an ice chunk. Beck can destroy the pillar afterwards with his weapons. It is recommended to use the Fire Explosion during this fight as the Cryosphere is weak to this weapon which can destroyed the ice pillars she creates.
Trivia[]
- The Cryosphere was originally designed to be like an ice skater.
- She is the only Mighty Number to have no hands whatsoever, as far as we know.
- Logically, the Pyrogen should be weak to the Cryosphere, not the other way around.
