Cyrene, also known as Mem is one of the overarching protagonists in Science-Fantasy Turn-Based Role-Playing Video Game Honkai: Star Rail, serving as one of the two deuteragonists (Along with Phainon) of the Amphoreus Trailblaze Mission.
She was the former member of the Chrysos Heirs and demigod of Time who had delivered Oronyx' Coreflame in the Cycle of Amphoreus prior to the beginning of the first Eternal Recurrence. In her past life as a Chrysos Heir, she wields a Ceremonial Blade of the Priest of Time, which later gave it to Phainon in the arduous journey through the Eternal Recurrences. Her spirit is stuck on the Path Space after her death instead of the Netherworld. In which, March 7th met her during deep sleep while being frozen due to the effects of the Rememberance. In the 33550336th Eternal Recurrence, she appeared as a Pink Membrance Maze Fairy named "Mem", assisting The Trailblazer to obtain the gaze of Fuli, the Rememberance in their journey in Amphoreus. In actuality, she is one of the Pure Children of Anāsrava, the fragmental child of Fuli along with March 7th.
She's voiced by Yanning (Who also voiced Pela in the same game, Lumine, Noelle, & Qiqi in Genshin Impact, Elysia in Honkai Impact 3rd, and Anby Demara & Soldier 0 - Anby in Zenless Zone Zero) in Chinese dub, Marina Inoue (Who also voiced Yanqing in the same game, Elysia in Honkai Impact 3rd, and Zhu Yuan in Zenless Zone Zero) in Japanese dub, Aiden Dawn in English dub, and Jo Kyoung-i (Who also voiced Yanfei & Aino in Genshin Impact, and also Corin Wickes in Zenless Zone Zero) in Korean dub.

Child of Anasvara[]
When Fuli had transformed into multiple of fragments, Cyrene was born within those fragments alongside March 7th, and other Children of Anasvara. She had arrived to Amphoreus for unknown means and by unknown means.
Amphoreus and Titanhood[]
When Lygus cut off the head of Irontomb known as Demiurge, Cyrene merged with the head to become it’s embodiment. She soon became the 13th titan, The Titan of Genesis. And she had two parts, one was Demiurge and one was her.
Eternal Recurrences #1-33550335[]
Cyrene was called PhiLia093 according to the Electrical Signal Sequence. In where she would always be killed by the Flame Reaver since it was to represent hatred to Irontomb which is how they evolve into something more dangerous. In every Eternal Recurrence up until Eternal Recurrence #33550336 she would be the Demigod of Time until the Arrival of the Trailblazer and Dan Heng.
Distress Signal[]
After the journey of Penacony, Black Swan has gotten a distress signal from Amphoreus by Cyrene. She did this to make sure that a “wishing star/next deliverer” would come to save Amphoreus from Irontomb. As the Astral Express crew was trying to figure out where to go, Black Swan told them to go to Amphoreus thanks to the distress signal that was sent by Cyrene.

March 7th[]
Before the arrival of The Trailblazer and Dan Heng in Amphoreus, March was sent into the Demiurge Matrix and soon she would later encounter Cyrene and she would soon become Evernight in the next cycle.
Mem[]
After being “killed” by the Flame Reaver, Cyrene transformed into a fairy called Mem. When the arrival of The Trailblazer and Dan-Heng, The Trailblazer would soon be gazed by Fuli and is granted with the power with Mem. They would soon become the Chrysos Heir of Time. The Trailblazer had gotten help with Mem to control time as Mem was a preistress.
The Trial of Time[]
The Trailblazer would soon take the trial of time to become the Demigod after getting the Coreflame of Time. The Trailblazer sees Oronyx getting killed by the Flame Reaver and Oronyx giving The Trailblazer their divinity and making The Trailblazer into the Demigod of Time.
The Fall of the Dawn Device[]
After Cipher’s Bait, Mydei and Tribbie’s Sacrifices, the Coreflame of Worldbearing would be delievered to Phainon via Zagreus. Phainon meets Lygus while he is awaiting for his arrival. And soon, Cyrene appears behind him and talks to him and Lygus.
Era Nova-#33550336[]
After the death of Khaslana, Phainon becomes Khaslana and grants both Mem and the Trailblazer to the next Eternal Recurrence. The Trailblazer is soon awake at Aedes Elysiae while they saw Cyrene in her human form. And it starts the 33550337th Eternal Recurrence.

The News of Amphoreus[]
Herta and Screwllum both enter Amphoreus virtually to talk with Cyrene and the Trailblazer about the news of Amphoreus, in where they both reveal that Amphoreus is a simulated world designed for Irontomb a Lord Ravager. Lygus is the creator the world as he is the admin. Herta tells the Trailblazer that Amphoreus has less than 14 hours or else Irontomb will be awakened. So the 2 of them went to find Cerydra and Hysliens.
The Battle Against Lygus[]
After the Trailblazer was trapped in time for 1000 years by Evernight, Okhema had been fallen and the Flame-Chase Journey failed and the Traiblazer took the Ceremonial Blade and soon became the Chrysos Heir of Worldbearing. When the Trailblazer when to Styxia, the only one who was left was Hysliens. Hysliens took the Trailblazer to the Vortex of Genesis to fight Lygus. Before being defeated by Lygus, Cyrene guided the Trailblazer with the power to manipulate the events of Lygus’ finishing blow. Soon, Lygus was defeated and the Traiblazer had offered the Coreflame of Worldbearing and becoming the Demigod of Worldbearing.
Evernight[]
Cyrene went to investigate the Demiurge Matrix to find March, and she did but it was Evernight instead. Soon, The Trailblazer and Dan-Heng catched up with Cyrene at the Demiurge Matrix. But Evernight attacked them by summoning Ichor Memosprite: Judge of Oblivion. After the Memosprite was defeated, Cyrene, Dan-Heng, and The Trailblazer went into March’s Consciousness and they saved March from Evernight’s Control.
Era Nova-#33550337[]
As the Era Nova Ritual starts, Cyrene looks behind and sees Demiurge “The Original PhiLia” watching her and talking to her. Soon, Cyrene, Dan-Heng, March, and The Trailblazer perform the final Era Nova at the Demiurge of Matrix and soon the eternal recurrence ends.
Eternal Recurrence #33550338/Final Eternal Recurrence[]
Aedes Elysiae[]
After the Era Nova, the new eternal recurrence starts. The Trailblazer is in Aedes Elysiae and finds Cyrene in her new form “Ripples of Past Reverie”. She tells the trailblazer, “This will be a romantic story like none that has come before, you think so too right?”. She meets Dan-Heng, March 7th, and The Trailblazer in the new eternal recurrence and she tells them about her plan to destroy Irontomb. She tries to find Herta and Screwllum.
Ruins of Time[]
After Herta, and Screwllum had a meeting with the Geniuses, they decided to get the coordinates of The Trailblazer, Cyrene, Dan-Heng, and March 7th to where Irontomb is at. The 4 of them had arrived to the Ruins of Time to gather the heirs and use them to enter the real Amphoreus. They meet Mydei, Cipher, Castorice, Tribbie, Anaxa, Aglaea, and Hyacine along the way and they fix the fragments of the Worldbearing to help Phainon. The 7 Chrysos Heirs who had accompanied the 4 all sacrificed themselves to give those 4 the entrance into Irontomb’s Location.
Irontomb and the Final Battle[]
Phainon’s Sacrifice[]
The 4 had reached the edge of where Irontomb is at, they see the Dawn Device and they decided to activate it. In it, Phainon told them to kill him, and hiss corpse was merged with Irontomb to become “Anti-Creator, Hatred Inundate”.
Anti-Creator, Hatred Inundate and Irontomb[]
After Phainon’s merging, Irontomb finally activates and the attack from the Geniuses, Xianzhou Alliance, and Galaxy Rangers are all deployed on Irontomb. Cyrene weakens the chaotic monster with the power of love and genesis. Soon, Irontomb would finally truly activate to give it’s answer to the prime mover.
“Hello World!”[]
Before everyone would die, Cyrene and the Trailblazer would awake and use time to fix Amphoreus and fight Irontomb one last time. Cyrene would use the power of all Chrysos Heirs to create a true attack on Irontomb. And soon, the cosmos was restored as all devices had a phrase “Hello World!”. Cyrene would use the power again with the Trailblazer to end off Irontomb. As the Chrysos Heirs’ Spirits were fading, they all gave them grautitude and hoped they would kill Irontomb and save Amphoreus. And Cyrene and The Trailblazer launched the attack finally destroying Irontomb.
Fuli and The Fate of Amphoreus[]
Herta[]
Herta meets Cyrene at path space and would congratulate her for the attack on Irontomb. Cyrene would do the same thing to Herta, as she guided her to Irontomb. Herta explains to Cyrene that Fuli isn’t dead or alive but isn’t born. She and the other Children of Anasrava including March 7th, one of them could become Fuli. Herta tells Cyrene that if she leaves Amphoreus, Irontomb could return and the cosmos would still be at stake. But if she stays, she could transform Amphoreus from a Nebula into a Planet without any return of Irontomb ever coming back. Herta when she was temporarily Nous also tells her that there is a fourth instant that will happen very soon. This instant is known as The War Among the Aeons.
Aeonhood[]
Cyrene accepts her fate into living in the past to save the cosmos from it’s destruction from Irontomb. And she takes on the role of Fuli. To gaze on Trailblazer. Creating "The Hero Within" being from Trailblazer memories from future and put them in Past Phainon and Cyrene memories as childhood friend. After exhaust all of her powers, Original Cyrene and Demiurge fall into sleep. Sometime after, Demiurge Cyrene wake up, found herself shrink into Original Cyrene in the past. Thus, closing the loop.
In post credit scene. Cyrene now Mem again, meet Trailblazer and Dan Heng at the moment they first arrive in Amphoreus. Confirmed that she will always existed in and relive the past to ensure the present they won doesn't change. Allowing Trailblazer, Astral Express, and the rest of Amphoreus to move on to the future.
Trivia[]
- Cyrene's Drip marketing was announced on 8th September 2025. Which was the 3-year anniversary of the Japanese release for the "Because of You" animated short in Honkai Impact 3rd.
- There was a speculation in the Internet that the Trailblazers, Cyrene and Phainon are paralleled with the Manwha series, Omniscient Readers Viewpoint, Kim Dokja, Han Sooyoung and Yoo Joonhyuk with the possibility of Amphoreus being inspired from the series.
