The Wolf Pack, currently known as Task Force DEFY or DEFY in short is the major heroic faction that appeared in the android mobile video game, Girls' Frontline. They are the elite group of mercenaries which were found by Samantha Shaw before her death as the group was consisted of herself, Angelia and their personal T-Dolls. They made their first appearance in Singularity as they aided the T-Dolls to stop both Sangvis Ferri and the KCCO.
However in Mirror Stage, they were betrayed by one of their own members; RPK-16 with Angelia was captured by Paradeus as the result. Fortunately, the Commander and the State Security Service managed to recover both the Neural Cores of AN-94 and AK-15 and revive them before recruiting them in the battle against Paradeus while AK-12 was revealed to have survived as she took over a Nyto's body in order to rescue Angelia from Paradeus.
Following the deaths of Angelia and RPK, the remaining team members were led by AK-12 as they assisted the remaining Griffin & Kryuger members in the battle against Paradeus.
History[]
The Task Force DEFY were once found by Shaw in the year 2063 somewhere after the Butterfly Incident ended. Shaw also created the elite Dolls; AK-12, AN-94, AK-15 and RPK-16 and appointed Angelia as the team leader.
Later, the team make their presence in the story as they recovered ST AR-15's remains from the rubble in the aftermath of the battle against Elisa. They then have her revived by Team 404 and
Singularity[]
Sometimes later, they sent ST AR-15 to rescue M4A1 who was trapped in the aftermath of the battle between Griffin & Kryuger and the KCCO.

After Angelia revived all her elite Dolls by giving them new bodies,
Mirror Stage[]
DEFY was later detained by the State Security Service after Angelia was arrested and tortured after being accused of igniting the riot in the refugee settlement area and 'killing' Morridow. After Angelia was saved by someone else's order and was brought back to the safe house, she was reunited with the rest of the DEFY team until the female member and several bodyguards entered and escorted them out after they are being told to remain in Germany after the case have been solved.

The next morning, Angelia returned to the Galatea Sanatorium and informed Leone that she was being used by Grey as the pawn and pleaded her that she will protect her from her. Leone eventually gave in to her persuasion as Angelia had RPK taken care of her as she, AN-94 and AK-15 went and try to capture Grey in the Grey Biolabs.
Poincare Recurrence[]
DEFY did not appeared in the story following their defeat in the previous story, though the only members who appeared in the story are Angelia and RPK-16
Slow Shock[]
The DEFY members appeared in the story again as both AN-94 and AK-15 were once again assisting the Commander and his/her allies in infiltrating into the Dead Sea to capture William and destroy Avernus. In the meantime, RO635 was on her way to deliver the Strongarm to Angelia while being aided by Koleda who then informed her that Angelia was dying due to her body being succumbed to the radiation sickness as they find her lying on the surgery table supported by life-supporting devices around her.
Zero Charge[]
Team DEFY eventually make their way towards Frankfurt as they are on their mission to stop the remnants of Paradeus and RPK who was now in Angelia's body. Once there, AK-15 attacked RPK while the latter is on the bridge as she tried to shoot her. However, RPK managed to dodge her shot as AK-15 demanded her of why she betrayed the team, only for RPK responded by saying that she now called herself Embla Petrovska now that she believed herself to be human. However, AK-15 was not convinced and instead try to shoot her down, though RPK once again dodged her shot and jump down from the bridge and grabbed the railing. She then taunted her that the answer is her name before getting to the other side of the city.
Later, AN-94 and AK-15 were reunited with AK-12 who have upgraded her with several Nytos' parts as they learned that Paradeus was planning to resume the Project Cocoon in Frankfurt even after their leader was captured and their rank began to decrease, leaving the remaining high-ranking Nytos as the members left and reveal to the whole world of the Relic technology which they claimed to grant the people the eternal lives by broadcasting RPK.
Angular Gyrus[]
Team DEFY were framed for the act of terrorism and was believed to be assisting Paradeus' broadcast due to RPK's action despite their effort to stop Paradeus and they were forced to hide in the local bar. Later, they were approached
Virtual Pair[]
Following the battle in Frankfurt, team DEFY have learnt that M16A1 have attacked William though the latter escaped but not before his arm was torn off by her. They also then learned that the Commander was relocated in the suite hotel and decided to look for him.
They eventually arrived to the hotel when they managed to save the Commander from the Nyto that resembled Machlian as AK-15 took her out. After they patched the Commander up,

Trivia[]
- The four core T-Dolls of DEFY use the modern variations of the AK-47 lineage.
- Their animal motif was the wolves due to their aggressive and vicious efficiency, the squad was compared to the wolves and was referred as the Wolf Pack by many characters.
- In contrast of the T-Dolls of the Griffin & Kryuger, 404, State Security Service and Dawn Squad who wore the colorful clothes, the DEFY T-Dolls' clothes were black, white and silver and their hairs were silver and their eyes are also purple as they were all identical with each other, with the exception of AN-94 who was the only member to have blue eyes and blonde hair as she was revealed of being modeled after Shaw herself.
- So far just like the rest of the T-Dolls, AK-12, AN-94 and AK-15 eventually have their Neural Clouds upgraded and were given with their special equipment. However, RPK is the only member to have not having her Neural Cloud upgraded due to her status in the story.
