Devon "DJ" Joseph, better known as just DJ, is a supporting character in the Total Drama franchise.
He was a camper on Total Drama Island as a member of the Killer Bass. He was also a cast member on Total Drama Action as a member of the Screaming Gaffers. He returned for Total Drama World Tour as a member of Team Victory. He was seen with the original contestants on a yacht in the first episode of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, and had a cameo appearance in Eat, Puke, and Be Wary.
He was voiced by Clé Bennett (who also voiced Chef Hatchet, Leonard, Beardo, and DJ's mother in the same franchise).
Appearance[]
DJ is an adult-looking teenager that has brown hair, brown beard, black dotted eyes, and bronze skin. He wears a white skullcap, an olive green (with white hemlines) ringer shirt with a dark orange capital letter D, grayish-green denim shorts, and olive flip-flop sandals.
Personality[]
DJ can be described as a "teddy bear" - while he is one of the largest contestants in the series, he is anything but mean. DJ wants the best for everyone and will even throw challenges if he thinks he will be responsible for hurting somebody. He loves animals too, giving up his chance at the million dollars when a curse causes him to harm innocent creatures. He also has adopted a few pets during his time on Total Drama. He sometimes can be too sensitive and easily frightened, which interferes with his challenge performances. However, it is this kindness that makes him one of the most popular competitors among the cast. DJ also adores his mother. He credits her for making him the way he is and names her as his best quality. She also was responsible for a huge decision DJ once had to make, haunted by an illegal deal. He loves dancing and is an exceptional cook. His culinary creations have not garnered a bad word from a single person who has tried them.
DJ's two phobias are snakes and extreme heights ever since when he was a kid.
