Dai is a hanyō, and a protagonist from the movie InuYasha: Fire on the Mystic Island.
He was voiced by Yū Kobayashi in the Japanese version, and by the late Gabe Khouth in the English dubbed.
Biography[]
He lived with his friends and his twin brother Roku on a magical island off the coast of Japan. This island was hidden from the outside world so that the humans, benign demons and half-demons could live there in peace and harmony. However, four powerful and vicious yōkai had conquered the island, and almost all of the residents were killed.
At the time of the plot, however, Inuyasha and his friends come to the island to fight against these yōkai, and save the children. After the evil yōkai are defeated, Dai leaves the island with his brother and friends to live in a hidden place deep in the mountains, in harmony and peace.
