Daichi Oozara is the human host of Ultraman X and a member of the defense force team Xio. Despite it being Xio’s mission to destroy or kill monsters, Daichi ultimately wishes for a world where coexistence with them is possible.
He is played by Kensuke Takahashi
History[]
Ultraman X[]
As a kid, his parents disappeared during an event called the Ultra flare when his father tried to go into a building to find his mother. With only the spark doll of Gomora that his father was studying to keep him company, he began spending the next 15 years of his life as a scientist trying to find them. This eventually led to him being later recruited by Xio as a research assistant in order to help them with Cyber Kaiju.
One day, after Gomora failed to materialize into Cyber Gomora, a monster named Demaaga started attacking the city, forcing Daichi and his crewmate Asuna to evacuate the citizens and help them get to safety. While doing this, he accidentally lost Gomora while he was a spark doll form, leaving him in a dangerous position of being killed by Demaaga. Fortunately, before he could be killed by Demaaga, he was saved by Ultraman X whom went on to merge with him in the process.
Having now merged with X, the two ultimately spent the following year, defending Earth from beings that threaten it while also managing to help monsters as well, culminating in them facing off against their greatest enemy Greeza, the entity responsible for all the thunder energy monsters attacking as well as all the monsters being awoken from their spark doll forms. Although X and Daichi were temporarily separated as a result of it, the two were later able to re-unite through cyberspace (where he eventually reunited with his parents) and defeat it with the help of the other monsters.
Ultraman X The Movie: Here He Comes! Our Ultraman[]
Following Greeza’s defeat the year prior, Daichi and X were suddenly dealt with another world threatening event in the form of Zaigorg, an ancient evil monster whom was awoken by a greedy treasure hunter after being sealed in Baradahi ruins in Area 2 for millions of years by Ultraman and Ultraman Tiga (specifically alternate universe versions of them). Upon fighting the monster, him and X were immediately overwhelmed by his immense power and were eventually separated, with Daichi’s X Devizer being severely damaged in the process. In response to this, he immediately brought it to Alien Fanton Gourman and helped him fix it. Eventually, him and X were able to reunite with each other and help Ultraman and Ultraman Tiga defeat Zaigorg and stop him from causing hell on Earth.
With X having managed to regain his physical body again, he separated himself from Daichi to leave with the Heisei Ultras but not before saying goodbye and reassuring Daichi that he would return.
True to his word, by the end of the film, he returned to Daichi in order to inform him and Xio about to arrival of Desastro, another world ending monster.

Just as him and Daichi were about to about to face of against Desastro, they were suddenly separated and brought into another universe. While there, he was kidnapped by Mulurnu’s minions
