Daikichi Karube is a supporting character in the Netflix TV series Alice in Borderland, based on the manga of the same name. He is the best friend of Ryōhei Arisu and Chōta Segawa.
He was voiced by Tatsuhisa Suzuki in the Japanese version of the 2014-2015 OVA adaptation and by Joe Daniels in the English version. In the TV series, he is portrayed by Keita Machida and voiced by Wyatt Bowen in English.
Appearance[]
Karube is a tall and attractive young man with brown eyes and light blond hair that is shaved in the manga and a bit longer in the TV show. He often has his eyebrows furrowed and is seen wearing a shirt with a chained necklace most of the time.
Personality[]
Karube is very welcoming and open, as he had specifically learned of how to make friends. Despite so, he prefers to stay and jokes around with Arisu and Chota. However, he appears to hide most of his feeling inside as he remains at a pretty steady level of calmness even though his life is on the line.
