Dalek Alpha is a supporting character in The Evil of the Daleks. He is one of three results of Human Factor experiment created by the Second Doctor. He is the leader of the exiled Human Factor Daleks.
History[]
Appearance[]
As a Dalek, Alpha originally had a silver casing with blue globes. He was given a Greek "A" mark on his dome to distinguish him from his fellow test Daleks. When the Eight Doctor met him years later on the planet Kyrol, Dalek Alpha had a nice brand new red casing with a red dome, silver slats, as well as neck rings and black globes.
Personality[]
Like most Human Factor Daleks, Dalek Alpha had a innocent and playful like a child; contrary to Dalek norms, he was also pleased at being given a name by the Second Doctor to reflect his new independence.
Despite his new pleasantness, like Dalek Omega and Dalek Beta, he was still a Dalek, and thus could be provoked into violence, which happened when the Doctor implanted the Human Factor into dozens of Daleks, which erupted a civil war between the Human-influenced Daleks and remaining pure Daleks.
Unlike normal Daleks, Dalek Alpha cared very much for his fellow Human Factor Daleks, as well as humans too, including the Doctor, who he saw as a very very very very very old friend.
