Damien Drake Sr. is the overarching protagonist of Looney Tunes: Back in Action. He is a super-spy, great idol of Daffy Duck and the father of D.J. Drake, who with no-choice need their help to defeat Mr. Chairman to use the Blue-Monkey to conquest the world, because he is been captured.
He was portrayed by Timothy Dalton, who also played James Bond from 1985 to 1991.
History[]
Damien Drake is known for his wonderful secret agent films, but unbeknownst to all, he is actually a real secret agent, or as Daffy calls him, super-spy.
Warner's head of security tells D.J. that he wants to be a stuntman who can get a part from his father when he wants, but he prefers to earn it himself. Kate Houghton is a huge fan of him herself.
When D.J. returns home with Daffy following him, Daffy discovering that he is Damian Drake's son, immediately believes that the whole house is his secret hideaway. Then Damian appears in the box popped up with the remote, and DJ asks them what he's doing there and he apologizes that he didn't want to involve him, but he doesn't know who else to trust, and he does it while fighting Mr. Chairman.
DJ initially doesn't understand what it means and asks them if he's making a new film, to which Daffy stands in front with popcorn and drink excitedly to watch the alleged film. Damian tells DJ to go to Vegas and ask Dusty Tails about the Blue Monkey diamond. DJ asks if he should call the police, but Damian denies it and apologizes again before being caught and the call goes dead.
Throughout the film you see many traits of him where they keep it. He is seen through the ACME screen, he is strapped to a chair in the interrogation room, where he kicks all the torturers in every spot, when Mr. Chairman asks how he is doing, one of his own tells them Damien is going to collapse first to be grabbed, even if it doesn't seem like it. He is then seen locked in a cage with his hands chained, Mr. Chairman asks them if he will "save them the hassle of eliminating his son", to which Damien furiously replies that he will defeat him and tries unsuccessfully to assault Mr. Chairman with him laughing at it above. Then again, when Chairman says D.J., Kate, Daffy and Bugs can't thwart his plan for global domination, Damien is seen holding a machine with Dr. Lorre controlling him, he says he wants to bet Chairman $5 that his son will foil his plan and save the world, to which Chairman responds by pushing the buttons causing Damian to slap himself, then tells Mr. Lorre to give him a few slaps once in a while.
Eventually Damian Drake is roped and chained to the ACME train tracks with dynamite around him and a 5 ton anvil on his head and a pendulum of doom which is promptly taken off. Now that the protagonists are in the ACME hideout and MR. Chairman holds Damian hostage, says that if he wants his father alive, he has to give him the Blue Monkey, he gives it to him despite his father saying no and that he's fine, but then Chairman leaves Damian on the tracks.
While Bugs and Daffy are in space trying to stop Marvin the Martian who has the Blue Monkey for the evil plan, D.J. and Kate manage to free themselves and try to save Damian Drake as D.J. first he thought he was feeling bad because he felt his father motivate him but he was right there where they were. When the Robo-Dog attacks them, Damian asks what that noise was, to which D.J. she replies if he remembers that he always wanted a dog and there he is. Nervous, Damian tells them that he doesn't want to rush them but judging by the track it's 1m 15s left, at the end D.J. manages to frame the Robo-Dog and manages to save Damian before the train driven by Wile E. Coyote runs over him, with Kate happy.
After Bugs and Daffy succeeded in destroying the satellite, Mr. Chairman is transformed into a monkey just as the Drakes and Kate arrived. Damian tells the now monkey Chairman that it’s checkmate for him and he that he is finally going down before arresting him with tiny monkey handcuffs. A cheerful Damian puts handcuffs on them and tells his son that he is very proud of him and the two embrace, only to run away when Bugs and Daffy return victorious they crash into the ACME building with the spaceship they had taken. While the two bicker, D.J. introduces Kate to his father, claiming that she is a fan of his son. Damian is last seen at the Warner studios.
