The Fall Guy[]

Dan Tucker is a stunt coordinator for a new film, "Metalstorm," directed by first time director Jody Moreno. The production takes place in Sydney, Australia. Eventually, Tom Ryder, the lead actor of the film, goes missing. Colt Seavers, Dan's best friend and Ryder's stunt double who retired his job after a recent stunt broke his back, joins the production after getting a call from the film's producer, Gail Meyer. He and Dan meet up and the two drive to the set while they talk. After Colt performs a car stunt, he finds out that that Jody never asked for him and is still angry about their breakup after his retirement. After the two talk, they still continue filming scenes for the film.

After another day of filming, Dan heads to a karaoke along with Venti Kushner and few members of the production crew. Later, Colt and Jean-Claude, Alma Milan's dog, arrive where he finds out that Jody have left as he was involved in an extended chase through Sydney rescuing Alma from 3 men, whom were led by Dressler. He shows Dan Tom's phone and that the henchmen are trying to find it.

Later that day, Dan, Colt, and Jean-Claude heads to Tom's apartment where they unlocked the phone. They discover a video of an intoxicated Tom accidentally killing Henry, his recent new stuntman. Dan gets a call from Venti who tells him to turn on the news. It is discovered that Colt is being framed for the murder and a video shows him going inside the room where he finds his body. Shortly, Dressler and more men attack Colt and Dan, destroying the phone with shotgun pellets. Dan and Jean-Claude escape, but Colt falls into to Ryder's yacht where he is captured and brought face-to-face with Tom. Later, while Dan and the dog are at a store, they see the news and discovers that Colt's presumed dead following an explosion near the docks.

The next day, Tom returns to production, accompanied by his bodyguards. Dan sneaks inside through an alien costume as Dressler and Tom's henchmen are looking for him. He eventually finds out that Colt is alive and that Gail was the one who framed Colt for the murder by using Deepfake Technology that replaced Tom's face with Colt's on the incriminating video. He also learns about Colt and Jody's plan to make Ryder confess to everything. Jody convinces Ryder to get on a car for a scene before Colt hijacks the car and drives off. With a handcuffed and while wired with a microphone, Colt starts to make insane stunts and drives like crazy in order to make him confess his and Gail's involvement with Henry's death while Dan, Jean-Claude, and the rest of the crew, hold off his goons. Dan duels against Dressler which results with Dan hanging him with a hook strapped on his pants.

Unfortunately, Gail manages to get the recording at gunpoint. Jody helps Colt leap onto the helicopter in mid-air and Colt fights and retrieves the recording. While this was happening, Dan prepares the crash mat and when Colt falls, he lands on the mat perfectly and the helicopter crashes. Later, Gail is arrested and Tom accidentally got himself blown up while attempting to call his lawyer.

Following Tom's presumed death, he is replaced by Jason Momoa as the lead. Metalstorm premieres at San Diego Comic-Con, with Dan, Colt, Jody, and most of the crew attending, and the film becomes a blockbuster hit.
