Danaya (Sang'gre Danaya) or Hara(Queen) Danaya is one of the powerful diwata and deuteragonist in the Encantadia Series. She is the 6th Queen of Lireo and the third designated keeper of the Gem of Earth (Tagalog: Brilyante ng Lupa) successing her mother Minea, and the King of Sapiro, Armeo. She is the daughter of Minea and a the stranger Sapiryan Hero, Enuo. Making her have a Diwata-Sapiryan decent. She is also the wife of Aquil, sister of Alena, half-sister of Amihan and Pirena, Ashti(aunt) of Lira, Mira and Kahlil.
She is portrayed by Sanya Lopez.
Profile
Danaya is the youngest of the four daughters of Mine-a. She and Alena are born to Mine-a not out of love but out of obedience to what is destined. Having the same father makes Alena her full blooded sister, while Pirena and Amihan are her half sisters. She greatly respects the rules and customs observed in Lireo and abides by them, she is also very loyal to her kingdom. Danaya is also known to be a very skilled healer, both using her gem to heal the gravest injuries, alongside with her vast knowledge of medicinal herbs and plants.
Personality
Danaya is a strong willed Sang'gre believing she is capable of being Mine-a's heir. She believes age isn't a hindrance in handling a kingdom. Her strong and feisty personality that often gets her into trouble and arguments with her sisters, especially the eldest, Pirena. She also appeared to have a playful character and has a strong sense of loyalty to her sisters, especially to her kingdom. Danaya is shown to also be very gently, caring but merciless whenever it comes to people who wants to hurt those things and people she care about.
