Deputy Director Daniel Livingstone is the major protagonist of the 2024 video game Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
He is a deputy director of The CIA who interviewed and interrogated Frank Woods, Troy Marshall, William "Case" Calderon and Jane Harrow for Iraq Kuwait incident. After Harrow's Death, He tasked Woods, Marshall and The Rogue Black Ops Team to stop Pantheon and the new threat.
He is portrayed by Lou Diamond Phillips, who also voiced Victor Delgado in Elena of Avalor.
Biography[]
Background[]
Nothing is known of Daniel Livingstone's past, but he later joined the Central Intelligence Agency and rose to the position of deputy director. In 1981, he shut down the Advanced Technologies and Applications, a black ops research program after their project "Cradle" leaked across the facility. He also disavowed Pantheon, a top-secret subdivision also working on the project, for their unethical methods and experiments. Unbeknownst to Livingstone, Pantheon had embedded itself into Langley before disbandment and continued to operate covertly.
After the Cold War, Livingstone focused on removing the older elements from the agency, finding them unpalatable for a new era. He also wanted to remove agents from the Cold War as well, notably clandestine special officer Russell Adler. In March 1990, the deputy director got his chance to remove Adler from the agency, as Langley received documents framing Russell as the mole behind the failed Panama operation.
Black Ops 6[]
After the failed Kuwait-Iraq border operation, Livingstone interrogates Jane Harrow, Troy Marshall and Frank Woods for what happened on the ground. Refusing to believe their story on Pantheon (and persuasion from Harrow), the deputy director suspends the team, which allows them to continue Adler's investigation. While some suspension is placed on Livingstone, the rogue team discover that Harrow is behind the Pantheon's plan to perform a false flag attack. After stopping Pantheon from releasing Cradle at the Capitol Building, Livingstone tasks the rogue team to continue their operations to stop Pantheon in Avalon.
