Dante, also known as the Son of Sparda, is the main protagonist of Netflix's 2025 animated action fantasy series Devil May Cry. He is based on the character of the same name from the video games.
He is a human-demon hybrid Devil Hunter. He is the son of the demon Sparda and the human Eva, as well as the younger twin brother of Vergil, who was believed to be dead in the past until the White Rabbit revealed that his brother is alive.
He is voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, who voiced Nero in the original games, Ichigo Kurosaki in Bleach, Lelouch vi Britannia in Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, Sabo in One Piece, Zero in Megaman X and Lio Fotia in Promare, in English and by Toshiyuki Morikawa in Japanese.
Appearance[]
Dante is a slim handsome young man with white hair parted from the middle. He has a muscular build. He mainly wears a red jacket with a white shirt underneath. He has blue eyes.
Personality[]
Dante is an easy-going and arrogant individual despite his dangerous job as a demon hunter. He tends to spend his time dancing and hanging out at a cafe in his city. He is well-known among a few, being stated to be unlike anyone else in battles. Despite being very powerful, Dante is relatively carelss and arrogant, frequently falling into his enemies's traps.

- His English voice actor, Johnny Yong Bosch, had previously voiced Dante's nephew Nero in the Devil May Cry video game series.
- Dante is one of the three people (alongside Lady and The White Rabbit), who tragically lost a family (mostly his mother).
