History[]
Darcy first appeared in the episode "What If... Thor Were an Only Child?,'' which took place in a universe where Thor was carefree and irresponsible Asgardian. She was first seen accompanying Jane to Thor's party in Las Vegas, where she would take note of a bird like alien named Howard the Duck. Howard would later take Darcy on a date, and the two would be married by an Elvis Impersonator.
The next day, Darcy was taken to a S.H.E.I.L.D. base by Maria Hill for questioning. The agents found Darcy to be useless and annoying, so she was sent back home. Darcy later figured out that since Thor existed, other figures in Norse mythology must as well. With this information, she and Jane set out to contact Heimdall, though it did not work.
Despite the fact that they were married after only one night, Darcy and Howard remained in a healthy relationship. Darcy would go one to give birth to a child named Byrdie, who left the womb as an egg due to Howard's avian physiology. The two of them were soon offered an expensive cruise by a wealthy alien called The Grandmaster.
Darcy and Howard soon accompanied Grandmaster to dinner, where they learned the unfortunate truth that he was planning on eating their egg. A scuffle ensued, and the egg was stolen by a Ravager named Yondu Udonta. Darcy and Howard then stole one of Grandmaster's ships and got a call from Nick Fury, where they learned that the egg contained cosmic energy and that is was very desirable. They also overheard that Fury planned on taking the egg for S.H.E.I.L.D.
The pair went to Knowhere and found that the egg had been taken by a cult who planned on using the unborn child as a host for the deatn god Dormammu. Another fight ensued, and Howard and Darcy got the egg back. Looking for a place to hide, they traveled to Jotunheim. However, they were soon met with a group of thousands of villains from across the galaxy, including Thanos the Mad Titan. Darcy and Howard prepared to die, though the unborn child saved them by killing the villains before hatching. Darcy and her family then returned to Earth.
Darcy appeared in the penultimate episode of the series, where she told a her now adult daughter to pick up doughnuts from aa universe where carbs cause weight loss.
Personality[]
Darcy has the same personality that she does in the films, being very kind while also being very comical. She often cracks jokes and is seen as the least serious person in the room, sometimes to the annoyance of others. Despite this, she is very intelligent, even being capable of inventing multiversal communication.
