The Darius' team members are minor characters in the manga and anime, Attack on Titan. They were soldiers from the Survey Corps who were placed in Team Darius, under the command of Darius Baer-Varbrun. It is unknown who their Squad Leader was, however. They partook in the 57th expedition outside the Walls where they tried to fight off the Female Titan but were all subsequently killed.
Appearances[]
All the soldiers were younger men who wore the standard Survey Corps uniform and cape.
Darius' team member A[]
He was a young man of average height with unkempt black hair, dark eyes and having tanned skin. In the manga, his eyes and hair were of a lighter shade, while also having a very small goatee.
Darius' team member B[]
He was a younger man of average height with fair skin and had a petite frame and build. He had light brown eyes and frowzy hair that he kept in a ponytail.
Darius' team member C[]
He was the shortest and seemingly the youngest member in the Team. He had brown eyes and medium long dark brown hair that he kept in the style of a bowl cut, while in the manga His hair appeared to be light-colored.
Personalities[]
The Team members all appeared to be brave and bold fighters, who were daring to go against the Female Titan that had already defeated numerous soldiers. They were also noticeably vengeful, claiming that they will make the Female Titan have a “painful death”, showing their care towards their regiment comrades.
Story[]
Backstory[]
The men all joined the Military when they were old enough and joined the Survey Corps during their graduation, but it is unknown if they were from the same Trainee branch. The soldiers were placed under the command of Darius Baer-Varbrun. Considering their younger ages, it is assumed that the Team Members had little experience fighting Titans and only participated in a few expeditions.
Female Titan arc[]
The Team Members depart together with their leader and all the other Survey Corps soldiers for the 57th expedition. Team Darius would be placed in the right flank relay squad which was close to the center of the Survey Corps’ formation.
Team Darius kept moving forward, until they heard of information that a mysterious Female-Type Titan has been exterminating the right flank and has started approaching the center of the formation. It got to the point until the Female Titan approached their group, but they developed a plan to take her down. Darius acts as bait for the Titan while he placed his soldiers in different parts of a remote town. Team Member C making his way on top of old windmill observing the Female Titan while the other two follow her on horseback. Darius shoots signal flares at the Titan in order to distract it, when the Titan is successfully caught off guard for a moment, he gives the order for his team to attack her simultaneously, with each soldier trying to incapacitate the Titan. Team Member C going for her spine while Members A and B go for her tendons, all in order to at the very least slow her down. The soldiers bravely take-off at the Titan vengefully stating that they will take her down. But they are all caught off guard when the Female Titan suddenly jumps, staggering their attacks. The Titan falls to the ground, crushing Team Member A underfoot while could only look in defenseless terror. Team Member B lands on the ground and tries to escape but he is also killed by being kicked against a building. The wire of Team Member C was caught, making him unable to flee, he fearfully yells to the Titan to let him go, but she starts brutally toying with him. The Female Titan having begun spinning the man’s wire causing his body to be bent in half from the extreme inertia. Darius can only look in terror as it’s happening. Now being the only member of the Team left, decides to rush out of the town. The Female Titan then let’s go of the man’s wire causing his corpse to fly far away into the sky.
