Darlene Reyes is tritagonist the Final Destination Bloodline.

History[]

Darlene was born after her father passed away from a heart attack, and her mother, Iris, often spoke about death and how it would come for them. This constant conversation about mortality shaped Darlene's outlook on life. As she grew up, she yearned for a different path, but those thoughts lingered in her mind.

Years later, she met Marty Reyes, and they eventually married, building a life together filled with love and joy. They welcomed two beautiful children, Stefani and Charlie Reyes. However, after Charlie was born, Darlene began to realize that she was following the same pattern as her mother leaving her family behind.

Biography[]

Darlene received news about her mother's death, and as she tried to leave, Stefani attempted to follow her. However, Charlie, who had known their mother longer, stepped in to talk to her. Later, Darlene went to the Campbell house for a cookout she had prepared. She baked cookies for everyone, but when Bobby took a bite, he started choking due to his peanut allergy. Panicked, she quickly apologized and calmed down as she started a conversation with her older brother, Howard, who expressed his gratitude for her return. While Darlene was outside, she noticed the guys raking under the trampoline and made a point to stop them. Although she had her concerns, she tried not to dwell on the tragic memory of Howard being killed when his face was shredded by a lawnmower.

The family visits the hospital after JB suggests it, where they meet William Bludworth, a man whose son had a premonition about death. Bludworth shares that he has exchanged ideas with Iris over the years about ways to defeat Death, outlining two main paths: one involves taking another life, which complicates things given Iris's impending death, as her bloodline's survival is at risk. Stefani seeks a different approach, while Erik and Bobby brainstorm their ideas. the Reyes family is searching for the Campbells, but they suffer a grim fate at the hands of Death, leaving only the Reyes family remaining. Stefani remembers that Iris has been living in a cabin in the woods for years, which might be their best chance to evade Death. They drive through the forest to reach the cabin.

Upon arriving, they discover that the cabin is as Death intervenes, causing chaos. Stefani tries to break through the doors but gets tangled in her belt, preventing her from getting inside. Just as Charlie and Darlene are about to enter, the cabin explodes due to the gas being turned off. Charlie’s mother pushes him to safety before the blast, sacrificing herself. She tries to reassure her son, telling him she will protect him as long as she is alive, but tragically, she is crushed under a falling lamppost.
