Darrell Saragosa is a minor character in We Bare Bears. He is the shopkeeper of a small shop that sells computer mouse pads.
He was voiced by Mel Rodriguez.
Appearance[]
Darrell has short, dark brown hair and thick, fluffy eyebrows. He has whiskers along his upper lip and wears a pair of flat-top glasses. He's seen wearing a fern-green collared shirt, a pair of jeans and white tennis shoes. He's also initially seen with a name-tag from his workplace, Super Rad Mouse Pads, bearing his name. He's rather chubby and has a brown complexion.
In the flashback scene of "Bear Lift", it is shown Darrell used to have an afro.
Personality[]
Darrell is easy-going and kind-hearted. In his debut episode, "Losing Ice", he tries hard to be a good brother to Grizzly and Panda. When he learns about their situation with Ice Bear, he risks his freedom to help reunite them. Though patient, Darrell has limits like everyone else. After being treated poorly, he leaves Grizzly and Panda but later helps them apologize to Ice Bear at the airport.
Darrell often talks to himself, especially when he's happy or trying to stay positive. Despite setbacks, he keeps a cheerful attitude, like when his mouse pad store was close to shutting down in "Bear Lift."
However, Darrell can also be anxious, shown in "Best Bears" when he panics about wedding plans after mixing up his phone's alarm. He worries about marrying someone as talented as Sofia but overcomes his fear with her support and encouragement.
Darrell also tries to stand up for others, as seen in We Bare Bears: The Movie, where he warns Agent Trout not to harm the Bears or else he would write a serious letter to his senator, although he did so in a way in which he is unsure what to say about the matter, or at least in front of an authoritarian figure.
