David North is a character from the Ace Combat video game series, appearing in the DLC missions of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown as a supporting character. He is a member of Osean Intelligence Agency responsible for weapon analysis. He took part in the LRSSG's operation to stop Matias Torres from destroying Oured.
He was voiced by Taichi Takeda in Japanese and by Imari Williams in English.

David North was born in 1989. When he was only 15, he dropped out of high school and entered a private university, where he witnessed the events of Usean Continental War. In 2010, North joined the OIA and became their weapons analyst. He used an AI assistant Alex to help him with his assignments at times.
Skies Unknown[]
During the LRSSG's operation to stop the Erusean submarine Alicorn from firing a nuclear shell at the Osean capital of Oured for the sake of what its captain, Matias Torres, described as "saving 10,000,000 lives at the cost of a million", North took part in the mission briefing and followed its events, eventually being able to deduct from Torres' actions that he had a spy in the ranks of Osean intelligence. He was able to help Trigger evade and counter Alicorn's attacks, and found out that Howard Clemens' intelligence source was a former Alicorn crewmate relaying false information, which coincided with the revelation that Clemens attempted to assasinate Trigger.
As Torres' plan was nearing completion, David North realized that he planned to use advertisement drones as terminal guidance for his strike on Oured, and advised authorities to jam radio signals as a countermeasure. During the final battle against Torres, David advised Trigger not to buy his claims of surrender and keep attacking, and called the captain out on his plan for "salvation" being nothing more than an excuse to commit mass murder. The battle ended with the Alicorn sunk and Oured saved, while David finished his report on the submarine.
