Starsky tends to use bribery, blackmail, and Mafia-style intimidation, to get the information he wants. Likewise, Starsky is very streetwise, as he knows what is going on around his surroundings. Starsky is willing to go out of his way to help Hutch when the latter is threatened in any way. On the other hand, Starsky is devoted to his car, The Torino.
