Daybreak is a recurring character in the Spy × Family series. He's a highly incompetent, yet somewhat lucky, spy who runs a private agency in Ostania. Daybreak considers himself as the "arch-rival" of the westalian spy Twilight and wants to be just as famous as him, despite not doing a good job at espionage and being more concerned about showing off.
He's introduced as the secondary antagonist of the Midterm Exams arc, where he was hired by George Glooman in order to break into Eden's facility and lower the scores of the Desmond brothers at the exams. There, he comes face to face with Loid Forger, who was also infiltrating the school in order to change the grades of his adoptive daughter, Anya.
He was voiced by Yuichi Nakamura, who also voiced Bruno Bucciarati in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, License-less Rider in One Punch Man, Hawks in My Hero Academia, Karamatsu Matsuno in Osomatsu-san, Satoru Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen, Ryoma in Fire Emblem Fates and Fei Long in Street Fighter IV in Japanese and David Matranga in English.

Daybreak is a young man who's around the same height as Loid Forger himself. He has a square face, shaggy brown hair and a stubbly beard. As his outfit, Daybreak usually wears a blue turtleneck sweater under a black tracksuit, complete with an iconic white porkie-pie hat. The tracksuit also has an emblem on each arm of a rising sun in the horizon, befitting his codename.
