Debbie Turnbull is a secondary character from the cartoon series Robotboy.
She was voiced by Lorraine Pilkington, who voiced Tommy and some minor characters.
Appearance[]
It's obvious that Tommy gets the majority of his appearance - namely his facial structure - from his mother, including the square head and big, circular eyes. Her upper torso is shaped as a pointed triangle, and her arms are noticeably long and thin. She has a very slim waist, and her hips and thighs are incredibly wide and large, leading to an extremely voluptuous figure and rotund backside. Several adult jokes in multiple episodes make references to her body shape. To complement and show off her figure, she wears a sleeveless crop-top, purple leggings, and black high-heels.
Personality[]
Along with appearance, she and Tommy also share very similar personality traits. They are the only two in the family with good hearts and are not utterly unintelligent. Deb is a very kind and sweet woman to her family, and is always looking out for them. However, in spite of the fact that she makes it clear that she loves him and the rest of her family with all her heart, she becomes noticeably stern and strict when they step out of line, even through misunderstandings. Despite having a normal IQ at bare minimum, she can still sometimes make rather oblivious mistakes due to her rather naïve nature, and has been shown to be driven sugar-crazy after eating cookies (as seen in "Traffic Slam").

Trivia[]
- Deb appears in 47 episodes.
- She has pale skin in some scenes in "Dog-Ra".
- Her age is unknown. However, providing 13-year-old Donnie is her oldest biological child, Deb would at least be in her late 20s.
- According to her "Robotboy - Special Edition CD-ROM" character profile, Deb works as a librarian, in charge of the town's bookmobile.
- In an earlier episode, it is shown by a picture frame that Deb at one point had brown hair rather than her current ginger tone, although in the same hairstyle.
- Like many cartoon mothers, she tends to punish Tommy if he is seen to have done something terribly wrong. Examples include "Cleaning Day" when Tommy fails to clean his room when she tells him to, or in "I Want That Toy" when Tommy gets framed for stealing a toy, which was actually Robotboy in his backpack, and when he sneaks out to prove his innocence.
