Mallory is the main protagonist of Hotel Transylvania 2. She is the half-human/half-vampire daughter of Jonathan and Mavis. She is also the granddaughter of Dracula and Martha (her maternal grandparents) as well as Mike and Linda (her paternal grandparents). Through Mavis, Mallory is also the great-granddaughter of Vlad (her mother's paternal grandfather).
She is voiced by Emma Blinkoff.
Biography
Early life
Mallory was born a year after Mavis and Johnny (her parents) got married in the second film and lived with them at her grandfather's hotel.
As she showed a lack of vampire traits, she was raised mostly human, being fed healthy foods and taught by her parents. She often played with the Werewolf kids, and she watched Kakie The Cake Monster.
Drac's Concerns
Due to her heritage and possibly her young age, Mallory shows no signs of becoming a monster much to the distress of Dracula. Mallory's lack of powers seem to be because she looks more human like her father then what she is vampire like her mother.
Monster Training Boot Camp
After Mavis and Johnny head to California to visit Mallory's grandparents, Mike and Linda, Mallory is left in the care of Drac and his friends, Wayne, Murray, Griffin and Frank. Dracula, wanting to bring out Mallory's monster genes, decides to recruit his friends into putting the little girl through a monster in training boot camp.
Vlad's Arrival
When Vlad comes to the party after being invited by Mavis, he (who wanted Mallory to grow out her fangs as much as Drac), possessed Kakie the Monster mascot during his performance to see if Mallory's fangs would pop out from fear, but was stopped by Dracula after the possessed Kakie scared little Mallory.
Bela's Assault
Mallory finally triggered her vampire powers when she saw that her boyfriend, Whoopy, was in danger. She quickly turns into a bat and fights Bela, using super strength, super speed and X-ray vision allowing her to be able to see that Bela's gang was coming. Her, Mavis, Dracula and the rest of the gang fight Bela’s gang until they retreat.
Trivia
- Mallory bears a striking resemblance to Merida's triplet brothers Harris, Hamish, and Hubert from the Disney/Pixar movie Brave.
